Find a balance

So thankful that my parents are doing good economically.

If you asked me like three months ago what my pay check were going to I would have said that most of it goes to helping out my parents with bills and shit.

My dad found a job, hard working manual labor that pays minimum wage and gets good over time, and it started helping us out alot in the past like 6 months. Once everything started getting settled down my parents started to grow less weary of problems with money that might happen.

When I first started working, a year ago now, my original plan was to save save and save to buy my car. I was suppose to stay in school and work and if I stayed in school my parents said it would be fine to keep all the money I made to save for the car. Let see, then shit started getting bad. My dad didn’t have a job, I had crashed the new car the family had because I wasn’t paying attention and we were starting to run out of money. My parents hadn’t asked me to give them money, but I knew I should step up and give it to them. I would get payed twice a month. Making about $600 a month sometimes a little more sometimes a little less. I would give them one paycheck a month. I did that for about 9 months. Saving for my car seemed unreal.

Fucking amazingly, my dad found something and everything started to turn around. For now my parents don’t require of my help. Of course they’d like if I pitched in a lot more. But at the moment all I can think of saving and saving again. But to build my car. I’ll continue to go to college, and in a couple of months when I’m satisfied with the condition of my car I’ll start helping my parents out again.
